does anyone make a carbon fibre hood for a trans am??
i cant believe no one makes a carbon fibre hood for a 82-92 trans am. soo many cars out there but no hood. any body know of anything? 60 pounds of steel on the front of my car just bugs me.

Well there are many fiberglass hoods. Carbon fiber is looked upon as more of a "rice" thing. Not only that but a carbon fiber hood would make Bill Gates say "d**m that's expensive". However, I do believe there are some out there. I just don't know where.

I think theres one for the camaro but not sure about the firebird, dont think Ive ever heard of any.
