i need a 20 1/2 x 30 1/2 sunroof if anyone can help me please let me know, otherwise i will have to cut the roof off of camaro and attempt to weld it on i have tryed numerous places to get a sunroof, but no luck .... and i dont really want to attept a roof swap .... thanks to anyone that can help

but what is your situation? did you have one of those cheap pop up sun roofs and the glass got lost/broken? im going to assume u exhausted all possibility of finding the proper glass. did you try going to an automotive glass/body shop because they can or have connections to find or have a peice of glass made. OR what i would probably do on a budget is get some plexi and make some sort of clamps that would clap it on the roof, i cant think of any way to explain my clap idea, but that would buy you some time.

 

i got the car in a trade, and the sun roof glass was broke out im assuming, because it wasnt there, for now i have a tarp and stuff covering the roof, but id like to find one , and yes it looks like a cheapo aftermarket one

 

If it's just a flat sheet of glass a good glass house should have a flat sheet of safety glass that they can cut to whatever shape you want. It won't be cheap, but it also won't involve welding on your car.

 

Go on the inside of the car and look on the handle that closes the sunroof. Hopefully you can find the manufacturer stamped on there. If you can find out who makes it, post it up.

 

there are no handles, the glass is gone and so are the latches, i think the guy threw it out casue it blew off or some crap, thinking about seeing if i can get some kind of seal and a flat piece of glass and just bolting it in, it wouldnt open, but i wouldnt have to weld or anything, and it should work...... any thoughts let me know

 

I have been sunroofs for years, can you email me a pic of your roof, also where did you measure for for thise size, going to need to be bigger to straiten the cut and cover all the gaps unles we can find the exact roof, Rob

i measured from inside of one side to outside of the other sideof the seal that is fastened to the roof. that description probably doesnt help, i will get pictures as soon as the snow is gone, or i can get it into my garage to work on it

 

I can get you a pop-up 22x38, or a spoiler style 20x32, but you are saying 20 1/2, so thats going to be close, and most sunroof have a curved front so getting a larger one is what we always do on a re-do, you can give me a call if you wish, Rob @ E-Z Auto Specialties 540-786-8111
