that's going to be extremely heavy compared to a fiberglass one.

ya i know but i live in south dakota and it gos from hot to cold realy fast so if i try to form a fiberglass cowl onto a steal hood the steel will expand faster then the fiverglass cracking the body filler iv tryed it b for and it dosent work and i dont care about how heavy it is.

So your just looking for the cowl itself? I think it would be better to just save up sum cash and get the weight benifit of the fiberglass one and not have to worry about cracking...

i have a goodmark 4in and yes it is heavy but probably not as heavy as yall may think, i thought it would be really heavy too but was surprised when i received it. i actually moved it about 50 yrds alone from the end of my drive way with all the packaging still attached. it was stood up in a box on a pallet with metal bands holding it down.
