WTB Driver's side Quarter patch panel Firebird

Looking for leads for a lower patch panel for the driver's side. I have as 1" hole on the underside of the quarter panel where the drain hole was supposed to be. I have seen a small patch panel on the Brown's website but it is out of stock.

I don't want to buy the entire quarter panel and cut out such a small piece.

Any assistance appreciated.

I have the same issue. I called Hawks and he wanted $100 and a lot for shipping. I am just going to cut my own from a car in the junk yard. I will post pictures of the whole process when I get into it.

Good Luck. This is first place a car will rust, especially if it is a northern car. My car is 99.9% rust free and it has rust in this area due to the plugged drain hole.

I ordered a camaro patch panel from Brown's for $29.00. The piece I need is so small, I won't feel bad about cutting this piece up. You can't even see the area with the rust as is is underneath the quarter panel, closest to the ground.

I went to the site. It is ID/password protected. You have to be in the business to place an order...

If you can't even see the area without crawling underneath the car, why not just buy a piece of sheet metal from any hardware store and weld it in?

You may want to check out the drain holes behind the front seats for rust also.

Everything else is great!

The rear drain hole got plugged with seam sealer at the factory. The rest of the car is spotless!

I just looked it up and its only $32.95! For that price it's not even worth my time to go the junk yard.
