convert z28 to sport coupe?
personally i think the sport coupes look better than the z28s and all that. so i was wondering how hard it would be to convert my 84 z28 into a coupe, i like the rounded body style, it looks more muscle.

Remove the duck tail, ground effects, get a SC front fascia, cover old boltholes. I think that should be it.

Many sport coupes came with the ducktail spoiler. It was optional for a time IIRC. So leaving that spoiler on it wouldn't be a bad thing.
As far as gfx go, if the 82-84 ones are held on like the 85-92 ones, then yes, there will be holes that need filled, and you will need a new rear and front bumper covers. There may also be a bracket welded to the rocker panels on each side that will have to be cut off, then the area smoothed out and painted.

yeah i would keep it stock. the car looks pretty good for such an old car. the interior looks GREAT in the pics. it appears only simple things need to be repaired on the outside.
