Hatch Motor Blues

Ok heres the low down, i put in a new motor, used hatch struts, used switch, new fuse. Everything works fine but when I hit the switch it goes up then back down.What could be the problem? Should I adjust the height of the motor? Any help willbe appreciated, Thanks in advance.

I had a problem similar to this. I thought my hatch was not going down all the way so I tried adjusting the motor down. After the adjustment whenever I opened the hatch it would go up then down. I moved the motor up to where it was before and it work good. Make sure you are hearing the click when the hatch is closing or you might burn up your motor.

Well I tried adjusting the motor height & its still doing the same thing I don't know what could be the problem. It makes the clicking noise when its shut all the way down. It just goes up then back down, it clicks when it wants to open, but it goes rite back down. HELP!!!!!
