Want to rebuild door hinges. What are my options?
Want to rebuild door hinges. What are my options?
See alot of different things on ebay. Mainly for upper door hinges. I see the more oem style rebuild kits for the upper ones that bolt in and then I also see greaseable fittings
Also, only rebuild kit I seen for the lower are the pin and bushing kind?
Any other options for either hinge?

BigBadJohn, the TDS kits are everything you need to need to do one door.

I used a dremel tool with alot of little cut off blades to get the old ones out.
then as said a floor jack and wood or pad to hold the door up .
Also do only one hinge at a time.new ones go in piece of cake.
good luck Mike

Re: Want to rebuild door hinges. What are my options?
My doors are starting to sag now. It seems like they can be fixed from bushings and the pin? How would I know it's the bushings/pin vs hinges themselves? Any tell-tale signs of hinges being the actual problem? I saw the kit, but I would hate to pay 200+ shipping for a kits that replaces the pin/bushings if my problem is the hinges themselves.
