i have a 87GTA the door says 10/86 the mirrors look funny to me here is pic are they original or what if anyone knows let me know

 

hmm those pics make it hard to tell but those look to be the "paddle" style mirrors, theyre pretty rare.

yeah those look to be the paddle mirrors, run a search for "gta paddle mirrors" on here and see what comes up.

WHAT A SHAME!!

 

Paddle mirrors were discontinued on US GTA about halfway through the productio year, when the GTAs started getting the standard aero mirror.

On Exports, they were pretty standard fare, as their fold-away ability was required in many other countries, due to smaller/narrower streets. In fact, all the way through 92, the paddle mirrors were required in those countries.

 

I have a pair of the paddle mirrors from an 87 GTA that I might be willing to sell.Feel free to make an offer

 

all most the same color is one of them cracked

No that line is just in the reflection.The glass is not cracked on either of them
