Front air dam
I have an 86 firebird and the front air dam was busted when I bought the car. I found an 85 in the bone yard. Will the air dam work off of it? It looks like it just unbolts and from the 85 and will bolt up on my 86

Re: Front air dam
It's my understanding there were 2 different designs through the years. A 1-piece & a 3-piece, but I see no reason they couldn't interchange.
Is yours the same as the JY one? If so, sure.

See the thing is I dont know what my air dam looked like. The guy before me smashed it and took it off and had a backyard custom thrown under it.

Re: Front air dam
No hands on experience myself, but I know of no reason any air dam/any year, won't interchange.
