Re: Spare Tire what size???

The stock spares were those collapsible tires. I don't know of any collapsible tires you can get for the stock spare tire rims.

Re: Spare Tire what size???

I've actually run with NO spare for about 2 years now. I do want to find a 5th Snyper with a 3rd gen offset, or a pair to buy, have them widened, then sell 1 of mine, keep one as a spare.

Re: Spare Tire what size???

Just remember if you have a posi to never run different sized tires on the rear, and that means if you get a flat on the rear, don't use the stock spare.

If your fronts are the same size, swap one of them to the rear and stock spare on the front.

they go quick with different sized tires.

Well, the space saver spare should be fine in the rear...GM wouldn't have supplied something that created warranty repairs.

And since our front & rear OEM wheels have different offsets & rears will not fit the front....GM wouldn't have required the customer, who had a flat rear tire, to take a front wheel off, put the spare on the front , then put the front they just took off, onto the rear, since fronts will fit the rear.
