I just bought 1989 Iroc z its blue but the color is not original too much metalic in it and I dont think its the original color whats the name of the original color and whats the number of the paint?

 

bright blue metallic, dark blue metallic were both offered in 89 but the bright blue was not offered on IROC-Z. the camaro history book does not give paint codes. sorry. but if you want to check the original color try looking under the carpet. there are a lot of spots that no one repaints because 99.9% of the time no one sees those spots. floor boards, inner doors ect...
