Cleaning Front Fog Lights?
What is the best way to clean my front fog lights? I'm thinking of wet sanding the lenses. Im open to any ideas though.

The facory foglights are glass. Wet sanding them will make them hazy. You could try some carnuba wax and buff them. To clean out the inside, you can use Isoporyl rubbing alcohol and slosh it around on the inside.

i think you may be talking about the turn signal/park lites . the ones below the headlights ? or the ones in the grill opening ? at any rate if they are plastic , remove from car , wash inside & out . the inside just lukewarm water and dish soap . i did mine in the kitchen sink . flush well with luke warm water to remove all soap . then start with the wetsand , i started with 800 , then 1000 , 1500 , 2000 . do not get carried away sanding , do it even with paper around a damp sponge . i then finished with Meguiar's PlastX polish and a sonic scrubber with a soft brush . takes some time but mine looked almost new . worked for me . good luck .

If you are talking about the turn signals/park lights, then UNCLE TOM is right. You could also try some rubbing compound found @ the auto parts stores. DO NOT use rubbing alcohol on plastic! It will turn it white in most cases. Supreme Member

Re: Cleaning Front Fog Lights?
The stock GTA fogs, and I think the IROC ones as well are almost identical to the cheapo aftermarket fog lights you can find at any wal-mart of autozone for about $20. Re-use your existing housing, but take the glass piece from them. I also used the new reflectors, but that did require a quick re-wiring, since the bulb connectors are a little different. However, if you only swap the glass, no wiring mods are needed.
