i wasn't sure where to post this.. so here it is. i have an 87 iroc and when i bought it the fog lights had been removed. i have been looking around on ebay a little but everything is either crusty or over priced. so.. i was just at o'reillys and noticed a set of fog lights that look extremely similar to the stock fog lights on third gens.. but i am not sure about the size of them. i don't want to go through the trouble of installing them if they are going to look goofy. the box said they are 5 3/4" x 3 1/2". can anyone tell me what the dimensions of a factory light are?? also, has anyone used these (or any other after market light) on their third gen?

anyone??? also, i would love to see some pics of different aftermarket style fog lights..

 

it is hard to find an original set in good condition at a reasonable price . many aftermarket ones that look/work great are available . just stay with a rectangle shape . center and mount securely , thats what i did . i do use mine , they are great in foggy conditions . good luck .

 

maybe its a 1LE without fog lights...

 

the plugs are hanging there in the opening... the switch is on the dash... someone robbed the lights. i really want to retain the stock look but don't have hundred of dollars to shell out on nos lights. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

try lookin for the blazer brand lots of guys use them.sort of look the same.

those look pretty good.. and real similar to what i had seen at o'reillys. do you happen to know if they mount the same way as the originals?? or would some fabrication be in order?

 

A lot of guys use these lights so I'm amusing they go in with little or no fab work. They are center mount like stockers. Maybe someone who has used them can put a pic or chime in.
