what do you mean my window sill? Do you mean on the door or the a-pillar? can you post a picture of it so we can see how bad it is?

if youre not a welder i would say to fiberglass it after you sand it down to bare metal then sand the fiberglass paint over it

I had rust under my windshield. It appeared the window replacement company basically wire-wheeled the area. Then put por15 on it.

Biggest problem, once rust is started. The only way to stop it is to cut it out and replace it.

depending on how bad it is and where it is located, depends on what you will have to do. if it is just under the glass it could be fiberglassed over, easy way out, if it is rusting into the A Pillar i would start to cut and replace. if it is a big hole rotted all they way through i would cut and replace. if you are worried about making patch panels the easiest way is to get donor pillars out of a junk yard that are in good shape, skin them and put in place of the bad metal. i guess what im saying is how much do you like your car and how nice do you want it to be. there are many levels of body work. there is the half *** looks okay job where rust comes back in a few years / months. on the other hand there is the i spent time doing it right and hope fully it wont happen for another 20 years job. i really depends on time and money, and what you want the car to be when your done.
