Here is my question, my camaros park lamps are VERY icky, now they are sealed I dunno if they come that way from the factory or if someone gooped them after being cut open or something, either way I need to know. Thank you

 

id say save the trouble and buy new ones.

 

Thats the thing, I spent all my money on restoring the Car, I actually have no money as in 0.00 and a huge hold ticket at my local parts store, so if ya know tell me, its not like I haven't broke my back on this car already I can do the work , I just got it finished and these old nasty lenses just wont work...

 

Yep,sealed from the factory!I also vote for what cali said.
After all,you've gone this far so why wouldn't you replace them?

 

I have tryed the cut method never really worked go and get some new one's and be done with it.

 

i have removed housings , sloshed inside with soapy water several times , rinse several times . then polished outer lens . i won't say they were like new when i finished but they looked 100% better . good luck . ( i used cool water , would not reccomend hot water )

 

you can definatly clean them. warm water mixed with your favorite degreaser will do wonders on the inside and regular car polish/ scratch remover/ rubbing compounds will take care of most of the cloudyness on the outside. no it will not look new but it will be very clean.

 

You have to cut them open, if you want to get inside.

I converted mine to LED, and the only way in was with a dremel.

 

Thanks, I did them today before I looked at the forum, I got some meguires plastic polish was and they actually look new, they really weren't in that bad of shape. Oh and it is Finished I will be posting pix soon.
