Fixing a front bumper.

Hello all, ive had my bird for about two years now, and sadly for me theres a crack on the botom right of my bumper near the wind deflector, since it's nearly imposible to find exterior parts for thirdgens here in mexico, im gonna try to fix it myself, is there a right way to do this?

I was thinking of using fiberglass, but im no sure it will bond together. All the information you guys have is welcome.

Fiberglass is not the way to repair the bumper cover. You can find some good info here. http://www.urethanesupply.com/ Welding up the crack and doing an epoxy or urethane repair over the weld to finish it off would make it look like new.

there are all sorts of plastic repair kits that are pretty cheap. most of them use epoxy and a screen like material. look at your local auto parts store for a cheap one or go to your local auto paint supply shop for a better kit

I've had good luck with the Bondo bumper repair from my local Murray's. It comes in a double cylinder syringe with a piece of screen to reinforce cracks or breaks. About $7, but it doesn't go very far.
