what the hell should i get??!! NEED HELP!

not sure if this is the right place for this thread!

okay so im selling a bunch of mag slotted wheels. i should get around at least 400 bucks. and i have NO clue what i should buy. i want things for the engine, i want things for the interior, i want new wheels, new brakes, new rear end. i want a LOT of stuff. my interior is pretty much fine. i just wanna get the racing style seats and racing harnesses but i dont NEED it. i wanna get some go fast parts for my engine but a lot of the go fast things cost much more than 400 bucks.

so tell me. what would YOU buy if you had 400 bucks??

A good exhaust system would be top on my list. Even if it dosnt have the best gains (although third gens have terrable exhaust systems) they still will improve the sound 1000 times which is far more rewarding than another 10 or 20 hp in my oppinion anyways. A new cam (with springs seals retainers ect) would be my favoite mod as it will really change the attidue of the car. Headers and set of roller rockers would be the bast bang for your buck mod as well as being real easy. Maby a cold air intake.

Yes SFCs should be top of the list.
I would replace anything that needs to be replaced (brake pads, maybe trans mount, and a good engine tune.) But on the rear lcas and panhard if your bushings are shot just get tubular pieces with poly and rod ends.

definatly do some maintenace if you need to first because there is no point in fixing a car that wont pass inspection or run up to par. If your car does run strong and is dependable, upgrade to 4th gen seats!

these are all great ideas, and i already have a decent exhaust. it could be better, but its okay for right now i think. 2 days ago i found out the engine has a knock. YAY! fortunately i know somebody that has a 350 crate engine that hes not using, so if this one blows its mine! sooo im prolly gonna do a complete suspension tune up. driving it today i realized it hits every bump like its a pothole. so new shocks def. replace some bushings get the suspension nice and sound. after that i plan on either redlining for about 2 mins or drainin my oil and watchin the engine BLOW! then ill prolly just get the best cam i can get with whatever money i have at the time and be happy. replace fuel pump soon to handle the cam, headers and exhaust. anything else you guys would do with 400 bucks??

i dont plan on doing that with only 400 bucks. im just saying thats where img onna start and i eventually plan on gettin to it. and yeah i think blowin it ups gonna be fun. i just realllllly dont want it to come out the top end. i want it to throw a rod through the oil pan lol. ill need the heads and intake crap to keep it throttle body. i want carburated

you twist it hard enough to throw a rod its going to smack the head ,bend valves , break pushrods & rockerarms. I'll bet on it.

maybe if i do throw it through my head then ill HAVE to get it carburated and i wont have anymore excuses on why its not carburated!

your car takes every little bump like its a pot hole because it is a 3rd gen camaro! new shocks may help a little but remember your car was made to handle not to ride smooth.

okay so thats normal then huh lol.

i was hoping it was and that i didnt need new shocks and what not.
reminding everybody that this is my FIRST camaro and even my first time riding in a camaro so i didnt know what to expect.


thanks guys. still lookn for advice to.

thinkin im gonna buy a new better fuel pump and maybe the 91-92 ground effects. not sure yet, still debating!

I would keep the four hundred for the possible engine swap. You don't want a nice new suspension set up and then be four hundred short of being able to swap your engine.
