spoiler on a 91 formula

is the bolt pattern on the 91 formula spoiler different from the normal firebird spoiler and if it is how hard would it be to attach the normal spoiler on. I know holes may have to be drilled and filled im just curious as to how many.

Re: spoiler on a 91 formula

The holes will not match up, you will probably have to drill new holes and fill the old, otherwise you will need something to hold the front edges of the spoiler to the hatch. The more permenant method was stated above, the proper way would be to get the little hooks that are supposed to be used with the spoiler tack welded to the frame of your hatch glass. These brackets aren't difficult to reproduce, and then you would have a removable spoiler like it was intended.

Re: spoiler on a 91 formula

When I put the 4th gen wing on, we didn't use the "hooks" on the glass at all. In fact, we moved them entirely. 2 years later & it hasn't moved an inch.

Just had to drill new holes in the rear & weld up the old holes. Both were simple to do too.
