Door bumpers Yay, Or Nay?
I don't park in the city.. At all. But I will be going to school in the fall for my apprenticeship and might be buying a winter beater anyway..
But I'm just debating whether or not I should get them. My dad gives my crap about it because I've got hundreds of hours in the body work, and no protection on the doors, but I think it looks goofy with the 91 Ground FX.. What do you think?

i would put them on,
but then again, i live in the city, and park in a high school parking lot, and i think it looks too plain without 'em!

I would put them on. Personally I think they look ok and if you put hundreds of hours in doing bodywork I wouldnt want to risk some kid kicking the minivan door open and denting my car.
Just my $.02 but IROC wheels on a Pontiac???

I would put them on, i dont park in the city, but they have saved a few dings or scratches from happening. Also i think they finish the paint job off

I'd say he just knows quality when he sees it.

Put them on. I need a new set also, where do we find them?
BTW your car would benefit from a good drop, looks like you got 6" of space between your tire and 1/4 panel lip!

I have mine off I think the car looks more sleek that way but maybe you could find some that don't stick out so far and make them work on your car.

Took mine off before repaint. Improved the looks dramatically! So did the same on my 88 Firebird. So I'll say NAY!!

Re: Door bumpers Yay, Or Nay?
i think the ground fx look fine...about the door bumpers yeah they look gruesome on f-bodies but not as bad as a dent or a scratch from some stupid kid or some old person slamming their car door into the side of ur car..i think if your car was black then some chrome door bumpers would look sick on it...just my opinion
