Interesting body kit I found

Fabro's extreme 3'd gen body kit

I think it looks crazy good, only thing is I hate the idea of messing with my baby. I just don't know how much I wanna go away from the stock look.. :/

but the ad says your guaranteed to win car shows with that

I'd just like for my stock ones to be in decent shape, anybody have an aftermarket kit on a third gen? I'd like to see some.

If you love it, and can afford it, and can ignore us nay-sayers, then go for it. Me, I hate it.

Obviously pictures may not do it justice, but it seems to be a very low quality kit from what I see - the urethane looks warped and not straight at all. Could just be the pics...

Re: Interesting body kit I found

ill admit i like the side skirts (the way the vent holes things are. like the 91-92 but just different.) and i like the front bumper IF the stupid vents werent in front under the turn signals and the rear bumper just needs to go in my fire pit. if they just SIMPLIFIED that kit a little, and stopped looking at kits for evos and eclipses, then it MAY look good.

Re: Interesting body kit I found

I like it. And I appreciate the fact that companies are starting to step up and make different kind of visual aftermarket components. I think if the car was black, and had bigger, blacked out wheels, it would look sharp. The exhaust needs to be revisited though...

What I don't understand is that people b!tch and moan about not having enough visual accessories and when something new comes out, it gets shot down...

Its things like that which kill our specific slice of the Car-enthusiast world. I'd like to say that pictures like that should be taken down from the web, but even I save those for posterity . I've some more pics of that monstrosity here.

I like the taller ground effects and such. The rear bumper might look alright with different exhaust tips, like duals or maybe oval.

Re: Interesting body kit I found

I've always built cars in a way that ....it looked like the factory might have done it but didn't. Chip Foose says this allot on his show.

IMO when you do the small body mods and people know that it's different but not sure what you changed, that's the coolest mod ever.

Very 80's looking to me......but hey the 80's style is back

Makes the car look heavy in my opinion, I wouldn't rock it.

Re: Interesting body kit I found

I don't care for it. It looks overdone, stuck on and doesn't really flow with the lines of the car. I agree with some of the earlier posts, it needs to look like it was designed with the car, not an afterthought. The wing on top of the wing is purely hideous to me.

Where does this come from?

I like the design but the lower lip should be more like stock GTA ground effect....

Those are late 70's early 80's corvette rims

That kit is extremely ugly and cheapens the whole look of the car. I agree it looks like something that would go on an import.
