I had an accident a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying to find out what color my car really started out as. It's teal now, but there is another, lighter shade of blue underneath. The RPO is says Dark Bright Teal but the color underneath does not match. Can any of you paint professionals add some clarity?

 

what color is your engine bay, floor boards, inner door? you may have to do a little digging but if you peel your carpet or pull a door panel you will most likely find your answer.

 

you could also take off decklid spoiler. if it was cheaply done the original paint my be there or behind the tailights.

 

Are you seeing the light blue color under just one part? It may have been a used replacement part at some point. If the rpo says teal it's a safe bet thats the original color.
