I installed Lons hinge pin kit in my passenger door. and a new striker. my door still seems to bounce in the jam when I hit big bumps.

The "jaws" that close around the bolt need to hold the bolt tightly to prevent up/down movement. You could replace both or try putting some thin plastic pipe on the bolt to compensate for wear. I "solved" the problem by screwing a wooden shim to the sill plate that the door sits on. Quickest/cheapest.

Looking at my jaws & I see the hard plastic coating is wearing away, and a shim sure does sound easy, thanks for reply!
