Redone Rims.

So i decided i wanted to go with blacked out rims.... well i couldn't afford the Vette Z06 rims in black so i figured i would repaint my stock rims(as they needed to be repainted anyways)

What do you guys think?

Re: Redone Rims.

Not really fan of all black rims - kinda like these ones tho...

I reckon black rims need a polished lip or something to break them up a bit.

Just my $0.02

Exactly what I was thinking. Too much black makes them just look like they are coated in brake dust.
However, this works! Old school IROC or NASCAR feel to it. I think the white letter tires make it just right. Just need a number on the side and some sponsors.

completely. Polished lip & at the spokes lines really look good.

IMHO......Solid black & you might as well throw a cheap set of steelies on there.

I will completely disagree with that as there are MANY fourth gens out there with all black wheels and they look great. I know about the polished parts like on other stock RS's and i don't like the look. I am going to something diff that everyone else does.... I want black rims not chrome for one.... lol

I agree. Thinking about doing mine all black with a polished aluminum lip as well. or should i do the spoke edges as well on my 16 Iroc rims. My whole car is blacked out. Doin the rims next. V10VIPER04 i think it needs a bit more Metal showin. to make it POP! But If you like it then thats all that matters right?

Re: Redone Rims.

The ones with the polished lip and spokes look reallly nice! I should try that sometime with an extra set.
