In this pic its wrapping around the sides of the windows the # 2 should be the first thing u put on when getting to the side of rear glass. the #3 go down the glass from #2

Re: need help with louvers please

Would be helpful to many. They would need to be made out of rust proof material. Here is a chance for someone to make some money ! ! !

Re: need help with louvers please

i could make a few for sure. need something to go off of though. could just use small pieces of stainless/aluminum. or just some metal and powdercoat it. or metal with some bedliner stuff would hold up great.

Re: need help with louvers please

Would have to be correct thickness so it would fit. (think it slides between the glass and rear hatch on bottom). The holes for the twist clips would have to be the correct size also, to keep the louver attached to the car!

Someone has to have a complete set that could be used to copy!

Re: need help with louvers please

price would go up for powder coated but it can be done i dont see why people wouldnt just make their own? looks pretty simple.. nothing a plasma, vice, and drill press and a couple hours couldnt handle! i have 4X4 sheet of stailess thats been sittin the garage for 6 years

Re: need help with louvers please

I could also probably have some made. I have no idea why you would want to powdercoat stainless though, that defeats the purpose of spending the extra $$$ on stainless versus mild steel. best thing in my opinion is having the stainless sheet polished before having the brackets made.

Wanted them black, also less chance of rusting over time.

I just sold my louvers, so I don't need them anymore.

Re: need help with louvers please

I might still try and get some made anyway I have seen alot of louvers for sale but no clips (jy take offs). I have a convertible so I won't ever need them but it would be nice to get them made to help out someone else that got a good deal on a set of hood louvers but can't find clips for them.
