How to install

Thinking of getting a new z28 spoiler on my 91 rs, how big of a pain in the **** would it be to change out spoilers. What would i need and how would i go about it. The chilton manual doesnt show how to take the back part apart to get the spoiler out.

Re: How to install

take the interior plastic off and there will be a few nuts underneath that for the spoiler. if ur putting on a lowrise or high rise spoiler ur ganna have to drill new holes to get the spoiler to mount, not to mention cover the factory holes. carefull not to hit the glass as you are drilling or your glass will POP and im sure u wont be happy

Re: How to install

Just like stated. To add though the nuts on the long section are under the hatch covered by black plastic plugs. Easy to take out but a lot of work to swap when its all said and done. I passed at the chance to get one that was the same color even.

Re: How to install

Just depends on how bad you want it on your car. Pretty shure I could have got mine for $15 at the JY. Still should have pulled it, but that was before I knew how much people where paying for them. Honest if you want then go for it. Its just a lot of work.
