OverSpray

So heres the deal I keep my camaro in my dads garage because its heated. well he was doing a lil bit of painting and some over spray got onto my car. now the question is whats the best way to get it off of the paint, my dad told me a good wax job would do the trick. so what kind of wax should i use to do this,
and have you ever had over spray on your car and what did you do about it

Re: OverSpray

You could try using a claybar on it, I haven't tried it myself but I've heard that it works.

Re: OverSpray

You could use some fine grit rubbing compound and buff it off.

Re: OverSpray

Buy a can of Eagle Alloy Never Dull Polish . It will get the paint off and you can use it on wheels , glass , jewelry , silver , pewter, and paint . You just tear some out of the can rub it on then take a soft cloth and wipe off the polish . You can get it at auto parts stores or Walmart I know has it . I use it and have used it before Eagle bought them . It is great stuff give it a try .

Re: OverSpray

if it's not real bad, claybar the entire car then make sure to apply a good wax/polish once you claybar it. You could use some compound and a buffer....but that will get super messy and you might get some unwanted swirls. The safest and easiest way would be the claybar route.
