Where is the cheapest place to order a hood from?

I'm guessing from Hawks on ebay. Usually a little bit cheaper than buying from Hawks website even though you would be buying from the same person.

Im loooking into hoods has well,hawks IS not cheaper. duraflex has the RAM AIR 2 for sale @ 399.99 hawks is@ 510.00 plus shipping on both.
And each place you buy from has differnt stipulations,finished or un finished,and how much will a professional shop charge?
Im considering a pre painted one from ebay,idk yet

I won a R/A I from Rex Orr (American Sports Car Design) when when he used to do the hood raffles. ASCD was a sponsor at one time. Nice hood too.

Well arnt you the lucky one anyways i just got a quote from a body shop on a unfinished ram air hood if I was to buy one,and they quoted me at 599.99 prep/paint/clear/mount..so add that to what ever hood your thinking about.

That's abit high for that hood work. To prep, paint and clear should be no more than $325 unless the color is a candy or pearl. Labor should be about 2.5 hours and materials about $125.

Yea,thats a worse case scenario,depending on how rough it is.on the other hand if its prepped and ready to paint,and the holes dont need cut out,then yea he said around 399.99 maybe he is high,to much time in the booth.
