Where Do you buy Ram Air hoods?
Re: Where Do you buy Ram Air hoods?
I'm guessing from Hawks on ebay. Usually a little bit cheaper than buying from Hawks website even though you would be buying from the same person.

And each place you buy from has differnt stipulations, finished or un finished, and how much will a professional shop charge?

I won a R/A I from Rex Orr (American Sports Car Design) when when he used to do the hood raffles. ASCD was a sponsor at one time. Nice hood too.

That's abit high for that hood work. To prep, paint and clear should be no more than $325 unless the color is a candy or pearl. Labor should be about 2.5 hours and materials about $125.
Re: Where Do you buy Ram Air hoods?
Yea,thats a worse case scenario, depending on how rough it is.on the other hand if its prepped and ready to paint, and the holes dont need cut out, then yea he said around 399.99 maybe he is high,to much time in the booth.
