It is all a matter of opinion. paint it the color you want it to be.
i think you should paint it either red, white or black so the interior doesn't look out of place. But like i said it is all a matter of opinion. Do what you want.

By the way, great deal for $450 the interior looks mint and the body is straight. 70,000 is also pretty low mileage for these cars, most have over 100,000. post up some more pics.

I would repaint the whole car the same color or a red that matches your interior. IMO

I think this color would look sick with your red interior... i used to have the same on my old 84...

my car or that silver iroc??
The silver iroc is a friend of Twin_Turbos... I beleive they're 18" after- market BMW M6 wheels... You need an adapter to make up for the extra large hole in those wheels at the hub...
Mine, on the other hand, are a direct bolt on...

i really like your wheels what are they and how much do they cost. Im in high school and cant afford to pay out the a$$, what size are they. I really like the color of your car. I want to buy a 4in. cowl hood and i may leave it black or paint it a lighter red
Also how does everyone get there car like a signature.
Amazing deal for the money your paid, but your paint should match your personality
I personally think a metallic red paint would look perfect, if done right. If you have the cash, go resto-mod style, Candy red paint with some decent forged wheels.
The absolute best advice I can give you though, is to just go to badassiroc.com. Look through different shades of reds, just look for a while, until you know what is absolutely best for you and your budget, and most of all, which appeals best to you.
If you're willing to change your interior, your options are limitless.

The color is just the stock gm bright red with a couple extra coats of clear... The wheels are 18" Ace Zeus's 8.5" on all four corners... The rears were originally custom widened to ten inches but had a bad incident with a curb a couple years ago and broke one of the welds... With-out any modification, just the wheels were around 1100...

The guy that painted my car (professional)told me to go to Dealer row (car dealerships) and look over the cars they offer. Once you've found a color you like you can get the paint code and that gives you a starting point. I picked rally red and had him add black and red pearl additive and shoot paint cards until we had exactly what I wanted. Also I am a fan of the candy apple red paint with the red pearl additive We chose the best that PPG brand paint offers. Car came out really nice. IM0

I think red will look great. But get your interiors color to black with red stitching. For me red car with red interiors looks ugly. if you dont plan to change the interiors then go for black.

from what i see it doesnt look in bad condition. does it have huge scratches or anything. because if it doesnt i would just restore the paint other then spending a couple thousand dollars for paint. my camaro first looked like primer and now its shinier then hell and looks in great condition. i would suggest just restoring the paint with wax and such. i can tell you exactly what you should all do to get that paint alive but first you need make up your mind if you wanna take a while and fix up the paint for cheap or if you wanna spend thousands of dollars to repaint it. let me know. if you want to restore it i'll tell you all i know and how i got my paint almost literly back from the dead. wash her and take a bunch of pics up close and regular pics so i can see it better to determine if it needs a repaint also take some interior pics and engine pics. i just dont wanna wast my time to type everything because theres alot but trust me its DEFINTLY WORTH IT!

Thats rust on the hoodya, i dont think thats fixable, i would love to keep the original paint but that is a bad spot. that is the ONLY bad spot on the car. and my family friend owns a auto body shop and hell give me a deal on painting and work. ill get some pics up maybe wensday, i have to work tomorrow right after school and i wont have time
