replacing door weatherstripping

replacing door weatherstripping

hey guys i need some help

i went outside to my car today and when i got in i noticed snow inside my car on my passenger side, well when i got out and walked around i realized that my weather stripping around the window is pretty much gone and is letting snow inside

how hard is it to replace this and how much would these cost me?

It's pretty easy to replace. not sure if you have a hard top or t-top. Mines t-top and I bought an entire kit last year for around $350 I think and bought some more new t-top stripping this year since my car was getting repainted. Just guessing around $100 each side. You can check hawks third gen, f-body motorsports, summit racing. I went with hawks the first time and summit the next time. If you have a hard top it should be easier. Not a lot to it.

Thanks for the referral. I will say that hardtop cars are way easier to to do weatherstripping on than the t-top cars. We do have the roof rail seals you need here

well i cant get the weatherstripping to line up with the window right, i have a gap between my window and my stripping so, any tips?

well i got them in, but its a PITA to close my door with the window up, or to roll the window up, will these eventally mold like my old ones were? or is it going to be like this all the time?
