ok so i might be retarded but ill ask this any way, i just picked up one of the aero wing spoilers off of a 92 Z28s, now taking a look at this thing im curious how to mount it, i have a hatch off of a 91 RS, (friend shattered mine..) and this spoiler jst fell into my hands so i wanna put it on, am i gonna need to drill holes in my hatch to mount this and do i use a bolt on the underside (inside) of the hatch that screw into the spoiler or what?

Is it supposed to have bolts mounted in it? If i have to use a bolt is there any way i can get someone to tell me the bolt size?

TIA guys, wanna get this done before i ship for basic next tuesday

 

I dont know about the mounting method on the original aero wings,but my aftermarket one bolts down,via the 2 middle supports.You will have to drill new holes,if they are not there already.Hope this helps.

well im seeing 2 holes on each of the middle posts and then 2 holds on each of the ends, so im not sure if somewhere in its lifetime this thing just got afro engineered or what im kinda thinking ill just drill the holes, make a gasket for em since i dont really have time to wait on hawks since i ship to basic tuesday, and then put the bolts in that way, i just gotta find the right size so it doesnt fly off the car lol

 

ok so i just got done bondo-ing the wing and sanding it down, wanted to check fittment and i think either somethings really jacked up or im retarded... I know that hawks sells those rubber gaskets for the wings but mine has like a 1 to 1.5 inch gap, are they that big or am i missing something?????
