I was thinking maybe we could get a list of parts the fit both cars, for example the rear hatch glass and seats. I am wanting a list not multiple post explaining what fits. I was thinking you guys say whats compatible and then someone edits the post so it includes everything then they can just post the list. Sorry if there is already one I couldnt find it. I want it limited to just the 3rd gen car not the 4th gen cars.

 

There are already a bunch of threads about this. That being said, appart from the front end, pretty much everything will fit between the two. Even the fronts will change, but you have to do the whole thing (bumper, fenders, hood, lights, etc). The only thing I can think of that won't easily swap over is the tail lights. The Firebirds are rectangle while the Camaros angle forward on the ends.

 

Are you saying maybe we should post what wont go from one to the other. I mean I think it would be easier if you can have just a list of it. You can look at and go ok the fits and will work or this does but i will have to modify it a little bit or doesnt fit and wont work instead of just reading all the multiple threads cause alot of the times they get off topic and are worthless reading.

 

would a firebird hood fit on a camaro?

 

I think I once read on here no. Not only because of the headlight difference but also firebird hood latches about 4 inches differently than the camaro.

 

so they wont fit, that sucks i found a really good looking firebird hood with louvers at my local yard and i was gonna grab it
