Re: Tuned Firebird

Love the color! Body kit isn't as bad as I would of thought, maybe its the paint job.

Still a very unique firebird and I like it!

Anything done performance wise?

Wow, I've never met a girl who could do anything more than fill her car at a gas pump and here's a woman who's custom fabricated a body kit to look that tight.

I'm very impressed, and the car looks pretty nice too.

Exactly what I was thinking. Most girls around here don't even like 3rd gens because they're not 'cute' like the Jetta daddy bought them.

Holy Cow! A girl that works on the same stuff I do! My wife has a GTA but I did the work.

I love your car, a little Euro for here in the states, but rare over there I bet, but really needs an areo wing! Just my 2 cents...

I wish I had my own shop/garage to do my own work... Can't wait to see the progress, the car is very clean. I really like the rear end (Corvette almost)

Man I love the rear on that car. It looks really good with the exhaust like that. I personally am not a fan of the front bumper but nice to see something different and custom fabbed, especially by a girl.

Never thought a 3rd gen without a spoiler would look good. And yet... it looks really good. Makes me second guess what I'm gonna do with my next 3rd gen.

And I don't know if you did your paint yourself or brought it to someone, but care to wrap mine in the same paint if you get a minute? lol.

car looks AMAZING. I think you deserve HUGE props for doing all that work yourself. To me the car looks like a cross between a third-gen and a 1990s 8-series BMW but in my eyes thats a good thing

Nice. Its totally cool you work on your car and have done all that custom stuff. And thumbs up for NOT having a rear spoiler/wing. Firebirds look 100% better without a rear wing, don't listen to the fools that tell you otherwise. Good Job.

Nice ride.... I love the fact in europe you have 2 fab everything if you want it a certain way. I heard that parts are very expensive over there for an american car.

Volvos in Europe have a different connotation than here. Here Volvo's are boring foreign family cars known for safety. But in Europe, Volvos were almost entirely RWD for a long time, so they're actually very popular race cars.

Hey Diore, what kind of foam are you using to sculpt the new front end out of? I can see that its a spray foam, but I'm wondering what brand/part#, and if they sell it in the states or what something comparable would be.
