rear hatch
not sure if i am in the right section, but story is a just bought a 1985 firebird project car
there is no lock cylinder for the rear hatch and the hatch is closed, i did a few searchs on this site and have not been able to get this open yet, maybe there is something i am not seeing
but so far i have been looking through the hole where the cylinder should be and kinda poking around with a screwdriver, i have also pulled out the interior light and tryed feeling around in there and i am not finding anything yet
wondering if anyone has some good advice

Re: rear hatch
Take a flathead screwdriver with a shaft about afoot long and a flashlight and shine the light in the hole and you will see the hole the screwdriver goes in then insert the screwdriver and turn .
