Axle/Gears: 3.23 limited slip
floor pan replacement
i just wanted to know if it's ok to use sheet metal for replacing a floor pan piece.
here's what is being replace:

as you can see it has curves in certain places, could I use a mallet and hit the sheet metal against my old floor pan to make the same kind of shape? thanks for your help.

you can buy whole new pans from Hawks and a few other places...

it should be ok to use sheet metal to repair floor pans i am planning to do the same thing next winter.and its a lot cheaper than the hawks floor pans.
