Lol Idk I felt the same but I am willing to hold my judgement like a good boy and wait for a finished product.

Wow tough crowd. I think it might be the angle its sitting at that makes it look off or the lack of sidepipes. I'll probably will email him for some better pictures of the front end modifications. If I do end up with it I probably won't come back around the forum until its finished I don't know how much criticism I can handle.

I HATE most kit cars. People turning Fieros into corny fake Lambos, no matter what the donnor car is, all kit's end up looking weird...
I have to say though, that one looks pretty decent.

Re: Viper kit on a Camaro Chassis

I always wonder when I see a kit car or replicar whatever you want to call it what the purpose is if you want a cheap viper I'm sure you could find one with a lot less work and even if you dropped an ls1 in it still won't be the v10 the viper came with. But it does look good I just think it would be a lot of work and money (not far from the cost of owning a used viper but a whole lot less work) for a car that would never fool a true viper enthusiast. Also who would want this car? a viper enthusiast or a 3rd gen enthusiast. I don't think a viper enthusiast would want this as it is obviously a fake, but I don't see a 3rd gen enthusiast wanting this either as it is a way of hacking up a perfectly good 3rd gen.

I've seen worse. The windshield doesn't really flow with the rest of it, other than that it's halfway decent. Deffently unique.

Honestly, I like it and I see it has alot of potential. Specially the enginebay modifications. It just needs some more TLC and a LSx and it'll be good to go... Working on cars I can appreciate the work that goes into a build.

You are correct I would be accepted by neither Viper purists or Camaro purists but I still think it would be a blast to work on and drive around. I see it like having a BBC in a volvo station wagon. Why? the real question is why not? I think it would be sweet to do it matte black and have an 8-71 sticking through the hood with copious amounts of pin striping. Something you would never see done to a real viper.

With that said though I will probably opt for a miata or something similarly retarded to drop the LS into. I like the idea of it being able to handle like a go cart. Sorry I had to display a chopped up IROC Z/28
