Was curious to if any one has seen this hood before, and would know where you could buy it, or what company made/makes it? I saw one on craigslist just like it, mine came with my car, and I always wondered where the guy got the hood from.

the one on usbody doesnt have the middle NACA duct.
yours might have been modified, or maybe it came like that from wherever it came from.

the usbody one is the only one i have seen at all like that

that hood is is a twin turbo hood that was made by an aftermarket company. the middle of the hood where it has the large scoop is custom but the 2 small one on the hood came like that. if you google third gen twin turbo hood i think you will fined a website you can order it from. good luck.

This is really funny actually... Months ago i actually pretty much joined this site because of your car. Im also from Maryland and saw the ad on craigslist and my first post here was to see if anyone knew the hood. The general consensus was that it was a custom twin turbo. I tried to contact the seller at the time and never got a response. Anyways, nice to see it full circle haha. Not to mention a larger resolution picture, the one on craigslist is tiny. I still look at it from time to time. The thread I started is still around here somewhere. What a relief haha. Needless to say, i like the hood as well

Everyone has their style I guess, Just search around by the keywords of ''Camaro Hood'' and I am sure it should pop up.

 

This is really, really ironic.

I saw that exact same hood on craigslist a few months ago and almost bought it but someone got to it before I did.

The guy said it was a cowl hood that he had custom molded, so It's supposedly one of a kind.

BTW to everyone insulting the hood, I agree you all need to keep your opinions to yourselves. The OP created this thread to identify his hood not get a 1 - 10 rating on his car.

haha that's good stuff. I doubt that guy even knew where the hood came from either. He had no idea what he was doing with the car, and it got worst when I got her home and started working on it
