theres one for camaro's that you can get from a bunch of sites. if you know how to use fiberglass you can modify it to fit the bird. i got to replace my quarters anyway so i plan to just mod the new quarters to be wide body. and there are alot of bad reviews about showcars so i would not suggest anyone buy there wide body quarters..

the one from show cars looks so nice though! Too bad there is no installed pics! You don't know the name or maker for the camaro one? I dont mind chopping up a bunch of glass, i am really good with all that stuff. I REALLY want to just start from scratch but cant bring myself to do it, what if just dont see it through lol?

You can't say that without sharing better info. Like what kit & from who. Got any links? The showcars one is the only one I've ever heard of. People say don't buy from them, but never say WHY.

I agree!!! It always seems like everyone has horror stories but they never actually have any experience, they just read someone elses post and then regurgitate it! Im not saying they're lying, im just saying i will be cautious but not rule it out altogether. I would call ahead of course, and insure anything i had shipped through them. There are so many ways of making sure you're protected these days

Because their quality sucks. 1 guy I know bought a flip front for a Corvette from them. Took almost a year to get it to him and what he got was a joke. It was a poorly penetrated bunch of fiberglass with a big lake of resin in the middle. Full of air pockets and other blemishes.

showcars is the only one for the birds i know of. i had several websites that sell a wide body for the camaro saved on my bookmarks when i was using firefox. but i can't get firefox to open any more. i'll look around on the net to see if i can find them again. most looked like the same kit just different sellers.

i have no experience working with fiberglass so instead of spending a bunch of money on something i wont know how to mod i figured i would go to one of the local junkyards and get some rear quarters off of a junk bird and reshape them to stick out 2 or 3 inches.cheaper and easier.

EDIT: heres a full widebody kit for the camaro

1300 bucks plus shipping i'm not sure if they sell the rears separately though.
