Thoughts on Fascia/Ground FX repair?

Driver side corner... Been like this since I've owned the vehicle... took the front apart to fix a bent bumper *probably how this happened* revealed a half *** fiberglass job behind the cracks. How should I approach this? I'm guessing most would say find a junkyard replacement.

Thanks

if u must fix them then for the facia do plastic welding with reinforcement on the back and poliflex to smooth it out, and gfx fiberglass will do the trick

Re: Thoughts on Fascia/Ground FX repair?

I would always like to see any and all cars , pieces , and parts saved if possible. That being said . I have a friend ( pro. automotive painter and body man ) that strongly recommended a new/used front bumper cover and lower valance for my Camaro before paint. It had a few tears and imperfections that were fixable but only with a considerable amount of work. We both agreed that before a 3,000.00 paint job I would spend some time at the wreaking yards. I was lucky and found a bumper cover in really good shape for $60.00 and a lower valance with only some small rub marks for half that. If your planing on a nice paint job .I don't think that a front bumper cover is any place to take chances. I say replace it.

Bumper looks fixable but like always, its the same old question; Do you think you can fix it properly and are you willing to spend time on it?

If no on either, then yards should have a decent one for you.

Re: Thoughts on Fascia/Ground FX repair?

that damage is fixable you just gotta take a look at ur pockets and weight ur options:
how ease are these parts to get in ur area? are u doing the job and feel confident ull do it right?do u wanna pay over 100 in shipping depending of where ull be able to find those parts??
at the end this is what really matters.
