hello,
i have resently repainted my camaro custom bright white with gloss black accents on cowl and hockey stripes. anyhow.... i bought some silver and black z28 emblems for the rocker panels and rear bumper... i did shave the holes on the rocker panel area... i can't deside if i want to put the emblems on or no.... so thats why i am asking you guys...to see what you think....i appriciate your help.

i am trying to get some iroc taillights to install on it also.....

I shaved all my emblems too...I like that clean look... beautiful car u got there!!!

If the hockey stripe was not there, it would of looked alot cleaner. I say leave em off, looks good now imo.

 

I say put the emblems it would look better in my opinion but it's up to you I love the paint that's the way I wanna paint mine but silver instead of white.

 

when I got my painted I kept the side ones off but put the rear bumper one on.... Oh and how the car look without rear louvers on? I'm a fan of louvers but those just don't go with the car, look for a set of metal ones.

 

PUT THEM ON! not an fan of deleting emblems. Also, the car looks good!

 

You have Z28 emblems I am assuming right (because it is a Z28 clone)? I f so I would put the emblems on because I think they make the car look cooler. Dont be ashamed about owning a camaro!

 

lol...thanks guys i am loving the comments of fellow camaro owners. yes i already have them and intended on putting them on, but it turned out better than i expected....and i couldn't decide.... i do like the idea of putting the one on the rear and not the sides. i also am not ashamed of owning a camaro or z28 clone in anyway....i always loved how the emblems looked...i just couldn't decide. especially after seening the all white all shaved irocz on bottom of page 5 of the mag that is looking for you...it looks awesome to me.
anyways... keep the suggestions comming... i have to decide before my big car show in sept

 

also on the louver....seemed like a good idea at the time...but when i got it and put it on i seen how it bubbled at top......just had to much money in it to take off...plus to tint would take another $200.00 for just rear window.
maybe i will try to sell it.....
open for any other sugestions....im sure you all know....once you stare at your car for a while you don't see all the things other people see....

Yea I would put them on, the rear end would benefit from em.

 

If you decide not to put them I will buy them off you make z28 clone but I say stick them with tape first and if you don't like it you could just take it off.

 

Nice car, I'd say leave them off. When I repainted my Firebird a few years back, we decided to leave all the badges and decals off as well. I just think it makes the car look cleaner. The older emblems didn't looks right. Good luck!

 

thanks for all you help guys...i decided to put them on.... helped with all the white.... plus when i install iroc taillights on rear...it would help also

anything else you like or dislike....be honest and let me know...i got a big car show coming up and i want to know what i should or shouldn't fix...

 

Good choice, car looks pretty nice but maybe some darker window tint? Also make sure put some tire shine on, I use Meguiars hot shine. Also do other stuff like polish up the rims and the exhaust and bring a california duster to keep your car clean during the show. Also dont forget the 'do not touch' sign!

Badges are good, put at least 1 on...

 

I would run an old school 69 camaro script on the front fender between the door and wheel well above the body line and a 69 Z28 emblem under it below the body line. I've got 67 SS 350 emblems on the side of my cowl and they look great,click my name and checkout my album for pics

Thanks. I like your frontend treatment,I wanted to do that at one time,that nose piece with ground effects. Yeah leave the rocker emblems off and go with the 69 emblems

well, thanks for noticing the front end...believe it or not....not many people even notice that the 2 pieces were never meant to go together..took some fab work.
