If I were you I would put it on that blue bird you got in the back ground. For some reason only birds can pull off the notchback I think they just look wierd on the camaro. But, that is just how I feel.

Re: notchback or not?

I don't like a notchback at all but that's just me, it seems like they are not as aerodynamic and you just lose storage space (as worthless as it might be)

Re: notchback or not?

I never liked it on Firebirds, but in your application, it does not look that bad, in the end its your ride and your choice.

How much lighter is it anyways? I heard the difference between em and a glass hatchback is nice.

Re: notchback or not?

Basically, the only person you gotta please is you...

I loved the original rear window on these cars (shape and stuff)...
But I also like the GM OEM Notchback too... so I got one...

Some factory pics here...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMESELX%3AIT

After much debate, since I am going with a KR replica, I decided to sell it... even though I do like the way it looks...

Why I like mine better then the OEM like ones, I don't have a big flat trunk area, its follows the line of a stock hatch, from the side to the untrained eye it looks like one that was painted. The notch part is only in the middle area of the glass. Leaving just as much flat area as the stock rear deck.
Maybe a hair more.

But all searching say only 3 were made and only 2 found.

Re: notchback or not?

In my opinion the notchback would keep the interior cooler but it takes away quite a bit of space it looks like.

Re: notchback or not?

LOL you're probably right. I didn't think about storage space but the things werent made for that anyways

theres still plenty of room for my wheel incase I get a flat and my T-top...what else you need?

It's not my DD anymore
