T-Top Weatherstrip - Metro or Soffseal

I know I know...GM is better, but I can buy Metro or Soffseal for half the price and I'm willing to risk it. With that said, what do you think is better Metro or Soffseal for T-Tops? I have found both for about the same price...and less than half the cost of GM.

We offer both the GM and the metro seals. We've sold many metro t-top kits without issue, but as anyone will tell you, its all in the install for these vehicles. Metro definitely makes a nice product for a fraction of the GM parts while still backing it up with a 15 year warranty.

If you are doing it yourself with no experience, IMHO, search for tips, tricks, & how-to!!

Like painting, prep is a big part, as 1ADan said, regaurdless of brand of stripping you use.

A while back, a guy at SuperChevy Magazine chronicled his install with pics. Maybe it can still be pulled-up for viewing..?..
It's been awhile siince ours was done.
We used the Metro brand for ours.
