Mine is different than the one that "tylercamaro" mentioned .When I received mine there were 4 screw holes in the grill on the inside against were the licence plate would be. Two on each side. Thats it. I pushed the piece on and marked were the holes were and then pre. drilled the holes in the front bumper cover. The grill did not fit perfectly against the sides all the way around so these were the only holes I used. Not to mention that the grill they sent me seemed to be a hard plastic that I did not want to drill through. I would tighten each screw down a little at a time so it pulled the grill down evenly on each side. Ive never had any problems with it and was even forced to mount a plate over the red Chevy symbol.(with no extra holes drilled in to the grill) CA is no joke about it.Must have a front plate! The plate came out OK and looks better than I thought it would.

The RS cars do not have the holes in the front to mount those grills in place - but you can just drill holes there and mount it. There are two holes in the top that will match up, use those. What I did on the insides was drill holes, and use the plastic sinkers that you'd use on drywall - that way the screw is catching the plastic sinkers and spreading them, rather than screwing into the stock plastic and just wearing out over time.

wow this sounds like a pain in the ***. i thought for sure it was a direct bolt in.

Not a PITA - takes all of 5 minutes maybe. Drill 2 holes and insert 2 plastic drywall plugs and 2 screws! Took me less time to install mine than it did to type this reply.

dont even need to pre drill just get some self tapping screws and dill them in take like 2 min to install thats what i did on my 91 rs

I used plastic push in panel pins, as used to hold the fender liners in. Much cleaner than screws and bolts!
Thanks for all the replies and advice, it's very much appreciated! I'll post a pic when I get it up on the car...thinking about going with the push tab idea...maybe!
