These god forsken t-tops will not stop leaking.

When I bought the car the rubber was bad, so I bought a complete door rubbers kit and installed it. Needless to say it was leaking everywhere. I have put sealant all around the top part of the rubber and it stopped leaking for a while, but not it is leaking all over in the back still. It runs down the molding in the back and also runs down the headliner, into the plastic piece on the roof in the back and then drips down onto my back seats. It's driving me crazy, what else can I possibly do??

Well I kind of have to drive it in the rain because it's my daily driver to school.

Years ago I had one come in the shop with a water leak at the back. When the rear plastic trim panel busted around the screws, they found some with bigger heads on them. They didn't realize they were longer and poked through the trough at the top of the hatch. Water ran right in around screws.

I pulled the outer edge of my new w/strips back and ran a bead of w/strip adhesive all the way around. Be sure and bridge the gaps between the center bar and roof with butyl. JMO They have a tech guide on this site about sealing those strips.

I'll have to look into that as well...my dad and I are going to take all of the rubber off and seal it all over again and hopefully fix it. It sure would be a shame if I couldn't drive it year around until I'm older because of this...

It is possible to get these things to stop leaking. I did, took me a few hours to test it with the water hose, let it dry and apply more adhesive. All you have to do is have someone run the hose over it while your sitting inside. and look where the leaks are coming from with the headliner off. Putty it up some more and roll with it.

Yeah that's how we did the front, but now the back is doing it too...looks like I'm going to have to take it all apart again. God it's 10 months in and we're still fussing with these leaks. Sometimes I wish I would have gotten a hardtop since I don't even take the tops out ever, I just liked how they looked better on the top of the car.

any outside trim screws you have like that. You might want to put some silicone adhesive on them and then screw them it. That stuff works pretty good.

Another very annoying is since the roof angles inward whenever you open the door the water drips off of the door rubber and onto the carpet as well -.-
