later model chin spoiler on '84 Z

I've searched for this topic, but haven't found anything. I'm wondering if the front lower "chin spoiler" off an '85 up Z28 or IROC would fit on an '84 Z without changing the front cover? I'm just curious because I like the solid spoiler on the 85 up better than the 84 that has the holes/louvers in the middle at the bottom.

No it will not fit. The front bumper cover will have to be changed, as it doesn't have the attachment points you will need for the chin spoiler.

What about a 91 92 on an 85?

That will work yes, the same bumper cover was used from 85-92, so the chin spoilers are interchangeable. That's an option.

Yeah, the 91/92 spoilers will fit 85-90 noses.

I believe you should be able to bolt them right up. Basically, anything from 85-92 can be swapped around. Their might be slight differences in bolt holes and things like that though.

I have the 91/92 gfx to go on,and I may just have to add or delete some mounting tabs,and/or screws.
