Need help, BAD

I am working on my 1984 Camaro Berlinetta right now. I know it has nothing towards the Z car, but that is where these ideas play off. My step dad and I were going to get it running this year, he died last. I ended up just off a whim getting a new EIM chip, because the crank was so strong, and she ran for the first time in 4 years. Through the course I have been checking the posts, finding a way to really say I got a camaro, instead of "ehh, it's a berlinetta". I found the concept parts I want for the body. This is where it starts....

I started stripping the paint because areas were chipped or bubbling. I got almost the whole rear done, except the lower quarter panels. I'm getting a stronger grinding pad/wheel tomorrow. I was wondering, that after setting a primer coat, should I also set a layer of resin(bondo) to protect the hard work?

No you need to strip it to the metal then apply 1-2 coats of epoxy primer

Re: Need help, BAD

Thanks for a quick response. I'm glad I only put a light coat of primer down, just to protect the bare metal. Does there happen to be an applicator that can help remove rust from the pits or should I just grind out the rust and patch?
