Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

bras=junk

Bras aren't meant to be left on cars, the purpose they serve is to protect the nose on a long trip, like cross country over a span of a few days.

Regardless, they are always hideous.

Did you see if the damage was already there underneath the lebra before you bought it?

Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

Yeah I am never going to buy one of those bras for any car I have, even a beater. I will see those 20 K IROCs sometimes with the bras and just know how bad the paint is underneath. There are cars on craigslist that will have light front end damage so they put a bra on it so that so they can sell it and hopefully get more money for it. case and point, if you want to keep your front end from getting the paint chipped then get one of those custom made polyurethane covers that dont ruin your paint, keep it safe from chips, and are invisible so it is like it isnt even there.

Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

Dude what damages..? there was discoloration thats it you had ppl tell you how to try and restore the color and what to do.. and in the end you didn't listen and just put the bra back on and now you basically sued/forced the company who sold the product to previous owner to pay for the damages? Its not their concern how previous owner used the bra wrong. Have you no shame? And To further disrespect the company soon as you find out your getting a check (allegedly) Your contemplating to use the money for an exhaust system instead of what you were forcing them to pay for and fix.

lost a ton of respect from me

-

for everyone else, here's a few pictures of the "damages" on his front end caused by the bra that he posted months ago.No body damage, No chipped paint, just discoloration from misuse by previous owner. The Company is not at fault. He never really even tried to remove it himself just complained and put bra back on which then i suspect he started at this suing venture

tbh age doesn't really have anything to do with it, I've seen people do dumb **** at all ages. I myself am only 18 aswell.. But can damn well say I have more respect for my car and others around. Its the individual that makes themselves look bad. in the end ain't age just a number?

True enough, just had too many kids with little to no experience on here posting BS. Sorry to the good kids here, my daughter is 23 and she has her problems but wouldn't try no BS like this.

Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

Actually I didn't stoop to low the guy purchased the lebra three day's before i bought the car. So I really didn't stoop it because one it was not faded horribly like it was when the lebra was left on in the garge. and outside when it rained out. So don't take this out on me and im going to get the front end re done so NO i am not ripping them off.

^You can't make the company pay for someone else's faults yours or Previous Owner's. Tbh u should feel bad, They're paying for absolutely no reason. and YES we did read thats how we figured it was u in first place and then ur scheme l0l.
-
The first thing u said when u got money was should u update your exhaust. That shows lack of interest of actually fixing what the money was scammed for l0l

EDIT IN: When a Man regrets what he has done, it usually means he's done something "Regrettable and wrong" rofl

Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

It's i get my muffler fixed or do the front end. It's getting done next week if it isnt snowing out. I don't think im scamming because of the owner before. I think slash you should personally stop trying to put me down over this. I feel like ****. I don't know if i scammed im a 100% honest paint job the guy said the paint was done and he put that lebra on the car as soon as it came out of the paint booth. Because he drove it all the way back from arizona. Down to PA where i got it from. I'm Taking thw words from the last guy. I'm sorry if you guys took this the wrong way.

Re: OMFG! I'M SO LUCKY!

shouldntve put it back on in the first place. ask ANYONE and theyll tell you what those pos bras do to cars. yea, they protect from physical damage of pebbles but in the long run its gonna cost you a paintjob anyway... and that time has come.

why didnt you pull it off when you first got the car or at least look under it when you purchased so you would know whats in store or avoided the problem?
