'82 nose to '91?

Hi,

I found a mint '82 Firebird bumper - basically one local guy just wanted to throw it away. So I managed to get it for about 20$. It needs new paint and overall cleaning, but otherwise its very good, no cracks no dings, nothing. He gave me the original honeycomb and brace too.

So the question is what else should I get to change the nose piece? New turn signals are obvious, but I have no clue about front deflector (the plastic piece underside the bumper) and headlights. Do anybody know if older headlight pockets and bezels will work with newer style headlight assembly or should I get older mechanical assembly too?

You need to change the headlight bezels (or the whole assembly as the sealed beams in the pre-91's are larger than the 91-92's and they will leave a sizeable gap around your existing lamps), and the outer air dam pieces that bolt between the fenders and the bumper cover. Well, you don't exactly NEED to change the headlight bezels, but they won't entirely look right with the shape of the bumper cover.
