Different size 1-piece air dam? Didn't know they made 2 different styles
Hey guys,
I just replaced the 1-piece air dam on my T/A and it doesn't fit. The nose was replaced with an 88 GTA front clip and the once piece that just fell off is WAY bigger than the replacement one piece that I just got. It's easily 2 inches longer on each side and a full inch taller. Also, the bolts on the ends don't match up now so I had to zip tie them because of this. I was just wondering if anyone knew of this. I know they make a one piece and a three piece, didn't know they had different size one-piece units.

Apparently there are two differnt sizes for one piece air dams.
There is a longer one for early 82-84 and the later models had shorter ones due to different ground effects.
Only thing is, I'm not sure if sizes changed from being Firebird or Trans Ams. It's quite confusing.
You said you got it from Classic Industries. The guy here:

got his from them too and his is shorter.
Something's up.
