How much seam sealer
How much seam sealer do I need to redo the inside of my firebird? I have the carpet out and I am going to reseal it after some POR15.
Also I know about the 3m stuff does anyone know about an alternative maybe a home depot item? I am thinking an outdoor adhesive would work.

I don't know how much you'll need. I haven't done mine yet. But, you can get seam sealer in a big tube at the autoparts store. I'd worry about a home improvement sealer shrinking and cracking.

Don't use a sealer that is meant for houses. 3M makes a brushable seam sealer that comes in a can, and you can spread it with a acid brush. One can should be plenty for what you are doing. Transtar is a company that may have a cheaper version. Don't get that POR on your skin, only time takes it off.

, but necessary for the body panel adhesive I got with it).Heck, I've used the clear silicone to repair a headlight lens assembly on a Dodge that leaked water inside and fell apart twice before I fixed it...
midias, it's your choice... It may take a few tubes, however, of whatever you use if it's not the can stuff described above (which is recommended by GM, BTW). They sell gray generic auto body seam sealer at parts stores (I have a tube of that as well I was going to use for something else but never did).
