Re: Air intake setups/systems
Still working on that.
The most important part in the setup:

A working airdam.
Ever since I mounted it under hood temperatures allow comfortably running an open element filter, which is what I'm aiming for when using TBI.
The rest will either be an over complicated ram air type of setup utilizing the front fascia openings on the camaro and a TPI plastic intake piece or alternatively a cowl induction hood.
haven't decided on that part yet.

Re: Air intake setups/systems
Sorry for the late reply.
The clearance to the ground is 4" which is the minimum I need at that location. Otherwise I'd lose it when leaving the garage.
A stock airdam sat slightly lower (2") before I swapped out the springs and shocks front and rear, back to original.
Car runs at 160-170 degrees F at cruisng speeds (40 mph and over) without fan, and even on 95+ degree F days (made a few testruns on the few warm days we had here)
Warms up to 185 degrees F on longer runs, but does not even exceed that at Autobahn speeds (100 mph and stuff)
Only time I get the car to 220 is in extended stop & go traffic, like 30 minutes or longer of crawling through traffic at speeds slower then 30 mph. As soon as speed rises, temperature drops again.
I measured through WinALDL because I did not trust my gauge untill I saw it isn't actually that far of (about 20 degrees too high)
